Thea is never one to shy away from a new challenge. Whether its cracking a tricky client brief, shark diving in Thailand, bungee jumping in New Zealand or running the London marathon, she will embrace it wholeheartedly. She takes an innovative, tenacious and pragmatic approach to everything she does. With a wealth of experience managing A-list global brands, her marketing and Public Relatoins experience spans across games and entertainment, fast moving consumer goods, as well as blue chip financial firms. Brands that she has worked on include; IBM, Thomson Reuters, Old Mutual Wealth, Brita, MAM, Top Trumps, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Monopoly, Waddingtons Number One and Bananagrams.

Miss Partridge has been responsible for planning and implementing integrated pan European campaigns that have included all elements of the marketing mix; TV advertising, trade and consumer events, digital, direct, social, print and PR. Her breadth of experience in project managing high profile campaigns means that she is a master at juggling tight commercial deadlines and negotiating with multiple international stakeholders to maximize brand impact.

Thea currently works as a Global Marketing Consultant and is the owner of Thea’s Marketing Consultancy, a London based boutique Marketing company. Don and Thea met at the Gen Con gaming convention in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2014, whilst Thea was the European Brand Manager for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Brand. A few years later the two reconnected from across the pond and a great partnership commenced. Thea brings her passion for writing, enthusiasm for innovation and love of all things social in her role as Social Media Strategist to The Frame Shop.

In case you are curious, here’s a potted history of Thea’s career thus far. Thea graduated in 2005 with a 2.1 in Design Management for the Creative Industries (BA Hons). She proceeded to work in Sales and Marketing for two years before embarking on a year trip travelling around the world. Not content to just travel, Thea completed her Diver Master in Koh Tao and worked on the island for several months leading holiday makers on Scuba dives.

Then, at the tender age of 24, Thea landed a role as Head of Top Trumps USA Education Department in which she negotiated and led the development of customized decks of Top Trumps for Smithsonian Zoo, Oakland Zoo and the Bronx Zoo. She also directed the creation of a new educational Top Trumps deck, ‘Baby Animals’ which is sold by mass market retailers throughout the USA, UK and Germany. Thea worked with an extensive range of tourist attractions across the States to implement the production and roll out of millions of promotional and collectable Top Trumps supercards to support deck sales.

She was later promoted to Marketing Manager for Winning Moves UK where she planned and implemented the trade and consumer marketing of a wider games portfolio. Most notably, she prepared and attended the launch events for regional Monopoly competitions, Top Trumps Tournament and Top Trumps 3D. The high profile licenses she worked on whilst at Winning Moves include; Olympics 2012, FIFA World Cup 2010, BBC’s Dragons Den, Star Wars, Top Gear, Harry Potter, Toy Story, Peppa Pig, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob and who could forget Ben 10.

Thea’s career later expanded into the Mother and Baby industry which lead to her coordinating the launch of the MAM feeding range and the MAM Perfect Soother which was awarded the prestigious Mother and Baby Gold Award for Innovation. Thea played an integral role in supporting the MAM brand in their expansion into mass market within the UK, as well as attending global product and marketing steering meetings in Vienna.

After several years working on the MAM brand, Thea returned to the games industry and worked at the Konami Europe headquarters on the ever popular Yu-Gi-Oh! brand. In addition to having created and executed the first European integrated marketing plan for the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand, Thea project managed the localization of over 35 TV adverts that were aired in key European markets. She also collaboratively organized national and international consumer championships and helped to implement the live streaming of the events to a global audience to increase brand engagement.

Since then, Thea has been providing innovative digital and social media consultancy services to a range of prestigious brands (IBM to Thomson Reuters) and she shows no signs of slowing down!
