Jane Chai

As a Jill of all trades, Jane has experienced all aspects of marketing communications. Whether she is the client, or working on behalf of her clients, she always knows what’s trending and how to make the perfect pitch.

Jane started her career working for McFarlane Promotions as an Event and Promotions Manager, planning and executing several events throughout San Diego County, including Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp, ShamROCK, the Tony Gwynn Hall of Fame Induction Gala.  She also represented the Gaslamp Historical Foundation, and Gaslamp Quarter restaurants Dick’s Last Resort and Henry’s Pub.

More recently, Jane moved on to Manduka, a high-performance yoga gear manufacturer and distributor. At Manduka, she served as the head of Domestic B2B and B2C / E-Commerce Sales, where she worked on retail partnerships with Equinox Fitness, Exhale Spas, Moksha Yoga, Victoria’s Secret, and private-label product development with Baptiste Yoga.  She focused on developing and managing strategic online marketing plans, merchandising efforts, nationwide promotional planning and orchestrating E-Commerce for domestic and international sales. She also served as the lead in Manduka’s Giving Back program, the company’s program aimed at supporting non-profit community yoga programs and events.

Jane is also currently the owner of Blue Beagle Coffee in Sonoma County. Wearing many hats, from barista to planning build-out for expansion, Jane and her husband Jason are enjoying the adventures of running the new go-to coffee destination in wine country.

Jane enjoys spinning, yoga, designing stationery, traveling and blogging about food-ventures in her down-time. She is a 2003 graduate of the School of Humanities at the University of California, Irvine.
