With an ever changing consumer, strategizing and planning to create the right marketing mix and deliver amazing results for her clients are her driving force.

Carol has more than 20 years of public relations, promotions and events experience and is a veteran of the toy and game business. She began her career in marketing with off-price retailer T.J. Maxx, serving as national media spokesperson spreading the word of designer labels for less through business and fashion segments with local television shows and in local newspapers. From fashion and home goods she jumped to games, joining Parker Brothers in 1992. At Parker Brothers as Manager of Public Relations and Consumer Relations she spearheaded the Monopoly game championship efforts worldwide, planning from ground-up several successful publicity events, including the “National Monopoly Game Championship” held at F.A.O. Schwarz in New York. She was instrumental in developing the “Monopoly at McDonalds” promotion, McDonalds most successful promotion to date. Working with the Girls Scouts of America, she helped to launch The Sleepover Club, a series of activity kits for girl, by hosting the Worlds Largest Sleepover at the Mall of the America where 500 Girls Scouts enjoyed a night to remember. In addition she was on the original team which developed the marketing campaigns “Plan a Family Game Night” and “Get-Together Games,” and acted as spokesperson for Parker Brothers and Hasbro.

In 1998, Ms. Knight moved to the Northwest and put her talents to work for Microsoft Games, educational software company Humongous Entertainment, and Wizards of the Coast. At Wizards of the Coast she directed the Public Relations and Promotions departments. In that role she was responsible for all product publicity and promotions including retail promotions and third party partnerships for products such as Pokemon, Harry Potter, MLB and Star Sisterz.

Most recently Carol has worked as a marketing communications consultant to trading card game company The Upper Deck Company and went back to her retail and fashion roots with marketing consultant positions at women’s clothier Draper & Damons and t-shirt manufacturer HeartThreads Clothing. In 2008 she joined the team contributing to efforts for Konami Digital Entertainment and their other clients.

Carol lives with her husband and middle-school aged son in Carlsbad, CA.
